Marking Services Incorporated (MSI) is a US-based company that provides labeling services to the oil, gas, offshore drilling and power generation industries worldwide. Headquartered in Milwaukee Wisconsin USA, the company also has manufacturing and engineering centers in Houston, Singapore, Canada, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Korea and Brazil. MSI is a niche turnkey labeling contractor that functions as a single point of responsibility for the implementation of all pipe labeling, in-plant signage, valve tagging and equipment identification on major construction projects. The company currently employs over four hundred full time people and operates in twelve countries.
Company History
Marking Services, Inc. is a privately held company that was started in 1988 in the basement of one of the founder’s home. We began by selling stock pipe identification products to mechanical contractors. Quickly we realized that in order to be successful we had to establish an identity that was different from that of our competitors.
Over the years MSI developed specialized manufacturing processes and innovative turnkey installation capabilities that allow us to customize the exact labeling requirements of our customers and to insure that they are installed properly. This market niche forms the basis for the company today.
Our Corporate Headquarters are located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and we are proud to have numerous domestic and global locations.
While we have experienced strong growth over the years MSI has tried to maintain its entrepreneurial family atmosphere.
